Terms of Service
Hebrew Hero is a Hebrew language-learning app for individual learners, operated by Haim Scheibler. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. License to use the app
Hebrew Hero is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These terms supplement, and do not replace, that agreement. Where the two conflict, the Standard EULA controls.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law.
- Use the app to break any law, or to infringe anyone's rights.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service or the servers it relies on.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app or its content.
3. Your account and content
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login secure. Learning content the app generates for you (such as AI-generated stories built from your vocabulary) is provided for your personal learning use. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Subscriptions
Hebrew Hero is free to use, with an optional Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Educational content
Hebrew Hero teaches Modern Hebrew. We work hard to keep lessons accurate, but we can't guarantee the app is free of errors or that it will make you fluent. The app is a learning aid, not a substitute for formal instruction.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
